SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO Foundation

SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO Foundation was established on 16 November 2015 with the aim to support Slovak visual journalism and work of mainly young photographers, photojournalists and video-makers, students of photojournalism, documentary work and photography, as well as all those of different ages interested in this area. The main objective of the Foundation is to promote and organise exhibitions, competitions and festivals, cultural and social events, workshops, lectures and training courses; to support the publishing of professional and picture publications, the production of web and TV programmes and films on visual journalism, documentary story-telling and photography; and to promote cooperation with schools, as well as dissemination of information on Slovak photojournalism and on Slovak authors abroad.
