The exhibition of four Czech and Slovak documentary photographers – Jindřich Štreit, Vladimír Birgus, Peter Procházka and Juraj Bartoš – is a small visual introspection into the period marked by the invasion of the occupation forces into Czechoslovakia in 1968, which resulted in normalisation. The consolidation of the Communist power was accompanied by the suppression of democratisation and reform processes in society and its overall stagnation. Each photographer captured this period in a specific way, with a special understanding and perception of this unfree world. The exhibition is open to public on Wednesdays from 13.00 to 17.00 o´clock and on Thursdays from 13.00 to 18.00 o´clock and is on view till 13 September 2018.
