On Thursday, September 10, 2026, a press conference took place at the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO Foundation Gallery on the occasion of the official announcement of the results of the 15th edition of SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2026 and the opening of this year’s exhibitions.
The press conference presented the course of this year’s competition, the work of the international jury, the finalists, and the exhibition programme, which will be presented at several locations in the centre of Bratislava.
The press conference was attended by Chairman of the Jury Clément Saccomani, competition finalist Tomáš Bulánek, member of the Video Jury Tomáš Stanek, Project Director Jana Garvoldtová, Project Guarantor Prof. Jana Hojstričová, member of the Photo Jury Magdalena Herrera, and First Deputy Mayor Tatiana Kratochvílová.
The programme also included the announcement of the winner of the Bratislava City Grant, presented by Tatiana Kratochvílová. The 2026 grant was awarded to student Marián Malatinec. Congratulations.
The official announcement of the competition results, award ceremony and opening of the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2026 exhibitions will take place today at 5:00 PM at Františkánske Square in Bratislava. The programme will then continue at the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO Foundation Gallery at Františkánske námestie 7 and at Biela 6.
