Opencall Water

An international jury will select 15 photographers from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and Ukraine in early summer 2025. These selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their photographic series during the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2025 exhibition in the fall. Before the exhibition, they will take part in a two-day workshop and mentoring session, where they will work with a professional photographer to select the final photos for the show. These works will be introduced to the public during an artist talk, followed by the Water open call exhibition.The final exhibition will travel across the region to reach a broad audience and will be accompanied by public discussions and educational events.

WATER Workshop in Bratislava

On September 18–19, 2025, an educational program with Clément Saccomani for photographers selected from the international open call for the WATER project took place at the Slovak Press Photo Foundation Gallery on Františkánske námestie 7 in Bratislava. The project is realized with the support of the Visegrad Fund. The final day of the workshop took place with the participation of Linda Kapustová Helbichová, Executive Director of the Visegrad Fund.

Exhibition Water in Bratislava

Water is one of the most precious resources on our planet. Essential for life and the functioning of society, it is today increasingly affected by climate change, bringing both droughts and devastating floods. Its significance goes beyond ecology: it shapes everyday life and carries cultural, historical, and symbolic values.

Exhibition Water in Budapest

Following its successful presentation in Bratislava, the international exhibition WATER is now moving to Budapest, where it will be displayed at the Biodom, alongside the World Press Photo exhibition.
