On Thursday, September 10, 2026, the official announcement of the results of the 15th edition of SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2026 took place in the centre of Bratislava, together with the award ceremony and the opening of three exhibitions presenting the finalists and winners of this year’s competition.
The evening began at Františkánske Square, where the main SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2026 exhibition was officially opened and the winners of the individual competition categories were announced and awarded. The programme then continued with the opening of the Bratislava City Grant exhibition at Biela 6, followed by the opening of the Students and Young Photographers up to 26 exhibition and the presentation of the Short Video category at the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO Foundation Gallery at Františkánske námestie 7.
The evening brought together finalists, winners, members of the international jury, partners, guests, representatives of the city, friends of the Foundation and the general public. After several months of preparation, the event marked the culmination of another edition of the competition, once again presenting strong authorial projects in the fields of documentary and journalistic photography.
