On September 11, 2026, the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO Foundation Gallery hosted a professional Feedback Session with Magdalena Herrera, member of the international jury of SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2026. The session was organised for the Slovak finalists and winners of this year’s competition.
The meeting created an opportunity for open professional discussion, exchange of experience and both group and individual reflection on the participants’ photographic work.
Magdalena Herrera is a highly respected figure in international photography. She spent ten years as Art Director and Head of the Photography Department at National Geographic France, later served as Director of Photography at GEO France, and chaired the World Press Photo jury in 2018. She regularly leads workshops, seminars and consultations for photographers around the world.
We greatly appreciate her willingness to share her time, experience and professional perspective with the finalists and winners of SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2026. We thank Magdalena for an inspiring session and all participants for their openness, discussion and focused working atmosphere.
