On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the Slovak Press Photo Foundation hosted a Christmas Day event in its gallery spaces, offering a rich program for both children and adults and creating a warm, festive atmosphere.
Throughout the day, children took part in creative workshops and hands-on activities, while the general public was invited to a guided tour of the exhibition by Martin Mikláš. The artist introduced his long-term project, shared insights into his creative process, and provided context for the exhibited works.
We would like to thank Jana Bašňáková for presenting her book Dozrievanie (Maturing) and for the inspiring and open discussion that followed.
An important part of the event was the Christmas Photo Market, where photographers had the opportunity to present and sell their original works. Due to the strong public interest, the Photo Market will continue until the end of Martin Mikláš’s exhibition (end of the January 2026). The program also included a raffle and various accompanying activities for visitors of all ages.
