On June 22, 2026, the international jury of the 15th edition of SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO completed the judging process and selected the winning photographs and projects across all competition categories.
The jury consisted of:
Clément Saccomani - head of the jury (France)
Magdalena Herrera (France)
Maciek Nabrdalik (Poland)
Ziyah Gafić (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
and Tamás Révész (Hungary).
Due to the challenging financial situation facing the project, this year's judging process was exceptionally held online. Despite these circumstances, the jury conducted a thorough and highly professional evaluation, resulting in a strong selection of works that will form the basis of the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2026 exhibition.
The SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO Foundation would like to express its sincere gratitude to all jury members for their support, commitment, expertise, and thoughtful discussions. Their willingness to remain part of the project during this difficult period made the 15th edition of the competition possible.
We would also like to thank all photographers who submitted their work. Their trust, courage, and dedication to documenting contemporary events, social issues, and everyday life continue to be at the heart of the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO project.
The recipient of the Grand Prix SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2026 will be announced during the project's press conference on June 23, 2026.
The full list of winners will be officially revealed during the awards ceremony and exhibition opening on September 10, 2026, at Františkánske Square in Bratislava.
