On October 1, 2026, a guided tour of the main SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2026 exhibition at Františkánske Square and the exhibition at the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO Foundation Gallery, Františkánske námestie 7, took place.
Visitors had the opportunity to meet the authors of the finalist and winning projects in person and learn more about the creation of the individual series, their themes, artistic approaches, and the broader context of the exhibited works. The guided tour therefore offered an opportunity to experience the exhibition through the personal commentary of the photographers themselves and created space for an open discussion.
The programme began at the main outdoor exhibition at Františkánske Square and then continued at the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO Foundation Gallery.
Date: October 1, 2026
