The Slovak Press Photo Foundation cordially invites you to the opening of the exhibition Martin Mikláš – Abyssal Echoes / Journey of the Fish, which, after its successful international journey, will be presented to the Slovak audience for the very first time.
The opening will take place on November 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Slovak Press Photo Foundation Gallery, Františkánske námestie 7, Bratislava. The exhibition will run until January 19, 2026.
Martin Mikláš is an award-winning conceptual, documentary, and fine art photographer from Bratislava, passionately exploring urgent topics such as climate change and its side effects on marine biodiversity. Through his photographic perspective, he focuses on the negative impact of global warming on the fishing industry, both from ecological and socio-economic viewpoints.
