Opening of the exhibition Tipping Point – Art in the Time of Climate Crisis

On 22 July 2026, the Slovak Press Photo Foundation Gallery officially opened the international group exhibition Tipping Point – Art in the Time of Climate Crisis, presenting works by students from five art universities in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland.

The exhibition brings together young artists exploring the theme of the climate crisis through a wide range of artistic approaches, including documentary photography, conceptual works and interdisciplinary projects. It offers visitors an opportunity to reflect on the relationship between people, society and the environment.

The exhibition is curated by:

Tomáš Rafa and Petra Wesserle,

with exhibition and spatial design by:

Katarína Plačkováand Jakub Mikula.

The exhibition features:

students from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava,

Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica,

Department of Fine Arts and Intermedia at TUKE in Košice,

Faculty of Fine Arts at Brno University of Technology,

and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
