WATER Workshop in Bratislava

On September 18–19, 2025, an educational program for photographers selected from the international open call for the WATER project took place at the Slovak Press Photo Foundation Gallery on Františkánske námestie 7 in Bratislava.

The workshop was led by Clément Saccomani, a renowned French photographer, editor, and curator who has worked with agencies such as MAGNUM, served as director of NOOR, and founded the organization Literati.

Over the two-day program, participants engaged in discussions about their photographic series, gained a deeper understanding of photojournalism, and explored editing approaches. Most of the authors of the WATER project attended the workshop in person, while those unable to travel joined online. This intensive meeting provided valuable feedback from an international expert and created space for mutual inspiration and exchange.

Participating photographers:

Petra Klemeň Áčová (SK), Marek Molnár (SK), Peter Drežík (SK), Lenka Zavadilová (CZ), Robert Kalamar (CZ), Barbora Vavrová (CZ), Ania Kłosek (PL), Bartolomej Krezolek (PL), Mateusz Sarello (PL), Máté Ladjánszki (HU), Edvard Molnár (HU), Márton Kállai (HU), Yulia Shybirkina (UA), Yuliia Rokytska (UA), Serhii Korovajny (UA).

The exhibited projects of these photographers can be seen on the joint international exhibition WATER at Hviezdoslav Square in Bratislava, from September 19 to October 19, 2025.
