The exhibition of photographs by members of the international jury of SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 2022, Kadir van Lohuizen (Netherlands, jury chairman), and his colleague Yuri Kozyrev (Russia, jury member), explores the impacts of climate changes and the rising sea level on the humankind. Climate changes have caused the retreat of icebergs around the world, with a higher pace of melting observed in Greenland and Antarctica. The erosion of shores, floods, and each time more common seaside wave surges made people escape from their homes.
The photographic exhibitions maps 5 localities of the world where the impacts of climate changes and global warming have been imminent and are very obvious, namely Alaska, Greenland, Canada, Russia and Norway.
